How much does a website cost?

 How much does a website cost? How much does a house cost? What about a car?

For some reason, most people think the cost of a website should have a standard price associated with it. Well, sometimes it does (ie. 5 page "brochure" style website), but most of the time it all depends on the scope of your project. Not all clients need the same features in a website, just as not all people need the same features when purchasing a house. That being said...the costs can vary quite a bit depending on what is needed.

Is Design Subjective?

 One could argue that design, much like it's distant relative "art", can be subjective. I can actually see some form of validity in a statement like that, but in the big picture, it's not quite true.

Yesterday...a long time ago...

"Yesterday...a long time ago..." is what my three years old says when he starts to reminisce about the past. It does not matter if the event he is referencing did actually happen the day before or if it happened months before...it was still a long time ago.

Little Johnny's thought process can ring quite true in the world of web development. In the arena of building websites, everything is changing pretty fast...Yesterday, IS a long time ago.
